(10 and 7) (Kiwis) live on a remote horse farm overlooking a beautiful, secluded beach. Global Kids Show visits them at home where they ride their horses and go for a dip in their favorite local swimming holes.
(6) (Maori) helps his grandfather share their culture with others. Bayley and his grandfather belong to the Ngaphuhi Tribe and they reenact a treaty signed by Hongi Hika and Reverend Samuel Marsden in 1819. For Bayley, this activity is more than a re-enactment. It is also a lesson in the culture of his ancestors. We see Bayley learn about his tribe's history and take a journey in a large waka (a tribal canoe) to a sacred island.
(10) (German/Kiwi) comes from a musical family. He started busking (performing on the street for money) at the age of 5. He has since played for many diverse audiences, from auditoriums of up to five thousand people to just busking on the streets for the pedestrians passing by. Global Kids Show spends an afternoon watching the people of Auckland enjoy the music of Vivaldi, Bach, and other melodies played by Reuben on his violin.
